中文摘要

文学研究与翻译研究是文学翻译的基础。在当下的文学研究中,后现代主义

成为了文学批评家们新的宠儿。而在翻译研究领域,文化转向是当仁不让的新热

点。本文将后现代主义和文化转向研究作为理论基础,将莎士比亚戏剧中的史料

元素及其翻译作为研究对象,借鉴比较文学的研究方法,论证文化转向在莎士比

亚戏剧史料翻译研究中的可行性。首先,本文将通过对后现代主义和文化转向研

究的对比得出两者的相似点,例如两者提出的背景,对于真理存在的质疑以及对

于大众文化的偏爱等。其次,介绍后现代主义在莎士比亚戏剧史料研究中的已证

可行性和先前成功的实际应用。最后,在前两部分的基础上,结合文化转向在莎

士比亚史料翻译研究中的实际应用举例,来论证文化转向在莎士比亚史料翻译研

究中的可行性。

ABSTRACT

Literary Studies and Translation Studies are both essential to Literary Translations.

Postmodernism as a new member in literary world arises with great popularity among

literary critics. While in Translation Studies Cultural Turn also embraces heated

discussions in recent years. Based on those two streams of theories, this thesis will take

Antiquity and Antiquity translations in Shakespeare’s plays as targets of study and

adopt methodologies of Comparative Literature studies to validate Cultural Turn

Studies of Antiquity translations in Shakespeare’s plays. Postmodernism and Cultural

Turn will be held for comparative studies first. Their correspondence in contexts of

proposition, denial of absolute truth and preference towards popular culture will be

presented. Then the proved validity to adopt postmodern perspectives in Antiquity

studies in Shakespeare’s plays will be enhanced with successful cases in previous

studies. Finally, grounded by the two steps above, the validity of studying Antiquity

translations in Shakespeare’s plays within the scope of Cultural Turn Studies of

Translation will be concluded, supported by specific examples of applying Cultural

Turn perspectives to Antiquity translation studies in Shakespeare’s plays.
