摘要
语用失误是指并非来自语言本身的语法等方面的错误，而是由于交际双方因表达理解的差异而导致的错误。因此,解决语用失误的问题要比解决语言失误更难,它所涉及的问题不仅仅是语言本身,更揭示出深层次因素,如语境、社会文化、宗教、甚至是人类的认知心理情况。在语言学领域，这一问题已得到很多学者的关注；而在广告应用领域也随国广告业的发展，外贸业务的发展渐渐得到重视。本文在第一部分讨论了语用失误的定义及分类，第二部分给出了造成语用失误的一些具体原因，第三部分阐释了对广告英语进行正确翻译的重要性。
